Back again after one amazing weekend volunteering at Parachute Music Festival and had an absolute blast!! -apart from my nose and lips getting extremely sunburnt! Who burns their lips??

Found this very sweet store Briones & Co. via Freshly Blended, and I must say this definitely makes me want to collect more recipes and bake more treats! I have Neil's birthday coming up in a couple of weeks and it's going to be quite the party, so I have to start getting all my recipes organized and ready to bake for 40+ people :) Wish I saw these recipe cards a month or two earlier!

Today has been amazing. Got some super amazing news, which made my day suddenly go from fairly normal, to above extraordinary!! And then got home to my sweet little Flopsy, which just brings me so much joy. This is definitely going to be the year of opportunities I feel :) So time to start dreaming bigger dreams.

Well friends, I must say I am absolutely in love with the industrial interior settings in these photos! Very inspiring interior photography by Pia Ulin which I discovered through Lushlee. Seems like there will never be enough interior posts to do, will never run out energy to post on this!

Bliss.

I am living in bliss right now. Our little Flopsy has been with us for two nights now and she is just the most darling bunny! I never thought I could fall even more in love with her, she has proven to make the husband and myself so very happy :)

I have been very fortunate as well to keep finding these stunning photographers. This is Erin M., a sixteen year old with an eye for a good shot! She also has a tumbler, so make sure you have a look there too.

Anyone else had any exciting things happen this weekend? I am so stoked, my father in law handed down the very first camera he ever owned, which was his dad's originally! *gasp* It's an old Minolta film in it's original case and apparently still works. So, keen to get that puppy dusted off and shoot some film!

Welcome baby.

Everyone, meet my baby!! Her name is Flopsy and she is the most darling babe in the world!! I told you I could possibly be a little obsessed with bunnies at the moment, so today Neil and I decided to add Flopsy to our little family :)

Already settling in well, she is currently napping on Neil's tummy, loving daddy, while he is playing Xbox. I think she makes the perfect addition to our family.

Be prepared to be bombarded with photos of my darling the next couple of weeks, as I am madly in love with her already!

Weekend & Happiness.

Yay my husband is home tonight! I finally have someone to snuggle, as I have been lonely the last two nights while he was away on work. And I must say, with him gone, I have been thinking so much about adding a little companion to our family...so tomorrow, I think we are agreed to go look at little bunnies!!! How exciting, I think I could be a little obsessed!

Anyway, I found this amazing photographer Wemby, who's work I absolutely adore. These images I could all relate to, so thought I would share these specifically. I am particularly fond of the top image, as quite recently I bought myself a notepad with some great ink pens and have finally started drawing and doodling again.
...Maybe if you are lucky and when I am more confident, I will share some :)

The 10 Cent Designer.

So here's a treat for you all, some interior inspiration by The 10 Cent Designer which is quite different to any interior posts I've done before. I think they do such a beautiful ensemble of modern and vintage - like the bathroom that is very contemporary looking, but has the amazing "Please do not feed the monkeys" sign; along with that beautiful vintage pillow on the sleek leather couch.

My absolute favourite has to be the polaroid wall, which is a collection of 150 polaroids that has been framed!

I could not resist doing another post on Garrett Lockhart. He was featured last week in this post, but honestly, his work is just absolutely amazing so here's some more of his photography for you to feast your eyes on.

What nifty little things these ampersands are, don't you think? I mean, it saves you not one but TWO characters when you use the trusty "&" instead of "and" in text. And to make it even better, you get these little suckers in all sorts of shapes and sizes: curvy ones, straight ones....bold ones, thin ones....italic ones, regular ones.

To tell you the truth, this world would not be the same without ampersand, so here's to you Mr. Ampersand, cheers!

+wondermilk.

Oh me, oh my. Someone buy me a plane ticket to Malaysia and I will shout you a coffee and a cupcake at this adorable little cafe/hangout/clothing/knick knacks/quirky goodness store, +wondermilk. I don't think I have ever been this excited to go visit Malaysia, but now I sure have a good enough reason, don't you think?

What started out as a group of creative graduates combining their skills and passion to explore a new and innovative ways of designing, it has expanded into this wonderful cafe. This is seriously all my loves smooshed into one ball of goodness: design, art, lomography (they even sell these here!), quirky knick knacks (that comes from owning our jewellery & giftsware store), coffee...and CUPCAKES! I suppose it's a good thing there isn't a store like this here because I would be spending all my time and money in here :)

So inspiration achieved for going downstairs now and making some cupcakes!

Collection of Cool.

This is the coolest little online store that I stumbled upon today, Collection of Cool.

It's filled with the sweetest collection of little things, from housewares to bags and pillows. I must say, these ones were definitely my favourites and I would love to get the camera case! Enjoy having a nosy through there stock!

Hello lovelies!
So I am now officially back after a week away at the beach, being lazy in the sun, taking dips by waterfalls and watching to see who can spot the first shooting star or satellites. It's been a great break! So now back into full swing for the year :)

Got lots and lots planned for this year, so keep peeping over for some crafty little projects heading this way! Yesterday I equipped myself with a brand new handmade/design book for inspiration, a cutting board and scalpel (oooh might attempt some paper cuttings!) and a brand spanking new drawing book.

So my pretties, what would you all like to see more of on here?

I want one.

I am in love. With bunnies.
All bunnies. Big and small, white and black. And I want one so so so bad! Pretty much ever since this post, I've been dreaming about the day I can call a bunny my little baby. But alas, while there is a puppy living with us and until we have our own home, I think it may be a bit difficult.

Until then, I shall return to these darling photos by Rosuuuu.

Away in the Wilderness.

Well as you would know, I am away in the Hawke's Bay on a camping trip! That means no technology, no phone reception, no luxuries...and I am so looking forward to it! I've got all me gears packed and equipped with extra sunblock, fishing rods, extra blankies and lots of home baked treats! Will update you next week with some pictures of our trip :)

Resolutions.

So I have been thinking about New Year's Resolutions and how every year we seem to be making goals for ourselves, which in the end seems to be repeated years to come. So my question is, why are we so motivated at the start of the year and then get discouraged and completely forget our goals? Seems to me like New Year's Resolutions don't always stick (could just be me, I don't know) and the things we wanted to change, we fall back into the same pattern again.

This year, I really want it to be different. I am not sure how, but I know it needs to be different, as I don't want to repeat every year's resolutions. So here goes, my list for the year:

-Love more. Excessive, abundant love.
-Give more. My husband is the most generous guy. So want to be like him :)
-Be happier. What a difference this makes to the outcome of a day!
-Read more. I've almost finished both books I set out to read last year, so need to do the same this year.
-Go horseback riding on the beach.
-Get into designing and crafting my own range of dot dot dot (could be bags, jewellery, shirts, dresses, shoes, books....I don't know yet!)
-Do a tramp up a mountain.
-Redecorate my house.
-Take more photos. And hopefully buy some more cameras too!
-Book a holiday in Queenstown again.

That's just a few I suppose, I guess there are many more things I would love to accomplish next year :) Who else has already made a list or do lists? Any of you that don't make a list? So curious to know your thoughts! Anyway, tomorrow is the husband and I's three year anniversary so will be away to share a day away with the babe.

Three.
That's the happy number today. Sharing the last three years with my love has been better than what I ever thought marriage would be, and it keeps getting better! It has just been amazing and I am so thankful to be sharing life with my best friend :) I won't write too much, otherwise I truelly will get too tearful.

Yay, to many more to come! x

Mr & Mrs.

So I reckon 2011 will be another wedding filled year for me! Already I have three weddings that will be coming up this year, so I am getting super excited! One particular one I have the great honour of being Maid of Honour, and it's so exciting as the style of dress we will be wearing is completely up to us :) YAY! Which means, I have to start looking for some gorgeous bridesmaid dresses! The only thing is, it's quite hard to find some sites dedicated to bridesmaid dresses, or that has some nice samples. So please, if anyone has any links, please let me know!
